About
After graduating as a graphic designer and working in various design and project management roles in the UK, Ryan moved to Asia to found Backtobasics in 2008. An expert when it comes to brand and concept inception – he also knows his onions when it comes to digital media.
Ryan will oversee your project from start to finish, making sure the final delivery is to the brief, and exceeds your expectations.

One of the more senior members of Backtobasics, Jean’s key responsibility is keeping our projects online and running smoothly. Jean takes care of all the jargon leaving clients relaxed knowing the technical specifications are being taken care of by an experienced all-rounder.
Jean is an Integral part of the company bringing a wealth of digital experience to the team as well as training and processing methods that make all our operations seamless.

Sun has been a quintessential part of the basic’s team for some time. A skilled senior coder – his experience and attention to detail ensure all his work is pixel perfect. He is proficient in, but not limited to various e-commerce and content management frameworks both open source and commercial as well as customization project duties.
Sun’s efficient and accurate coding abilities keep our projects on schedule, using the right technologies to boot.

A talented Programmer and stubborn perfectionist. Until the final pixel is in place, she won’t let it lie. Good for backtobasics and even better for the projects she undertakes. Well apt with working with our Thai clients, Gift will oversee the details right up to project launch. Gift is also responsible for our maintenance contracts – a quick email and updates made in a flash!

Woulter is on an internship from the Netherlands. We often have European designers on internships for sometimes up to a year. Bringing fresh ideas and some different styles, we find European interns to be a valuable asset to the company and we try in return to let them in on a few trade secrets and a bit of backtobasics ethos and integral work ethic.

Our computer boffins keep us up to date with all latest software – running on the latest machines, this keeps our creative team doing what they do best.
